Description | In the Web Development diploma program, you will gain a solid understanding of application development practices applicable to computer and web environments. Students will learn the language-independent programming concepts and techniques such as program flow, programming constructs of sequence, iteration, selection and decision-making in both a traditional programming and object-oriented methodologies. The program then explores a number of current programming and web development languages and technologies including but not limited to Java, JavaScript, Python, JQuery, PHP/MySQL, MongoDB, Node.js, Angular, Dreamweaver. and HTML5 allowing students to master the language specific syntax and coding requirements to translate logical program design into fully functional web applications. The program concludes with a 6-week, 180-hour practicum placement. | | |
