Description | Get the first-year knowledge you need for all engineering disciplines, while developing hands-on practical skills for Foundation and Level 2 electrical instrumentation apprenticeship. Graduates can pursue second-year engineering at the University of Victoria, a Bachelor of Science, a Bachelor of Technology Leadership or a Bachelor of Technology.
With an engineering degree from the University of Victoria, you can practice as an engineer in training, and over the next four years work toward professional engineering certification. If you enter the workforce right after finishing the diploma, you can pursue ITA Red Seal designation, since you will have completed two of the four levels of required technical training.
