Description | On studying this course you will develop as a student to become a highly skilled, experienced professional with a comprehensive understanding of the Film and Television industries. You will be introduced to the creative and technical aspects of single camera filmmaking and multi-camera television production, supported by film and media theory to inform your practice. You will learn how to generate and develop ideas and adopt a creative approach to your work. In the final year you will undertake a major production project and experience how media theory underpins your practice. There will be opportunities for work experience with our partners at the BBC, other production companies and to work on projects for external clients. In the second and third years there are a range of options to enable you to develop your own areas of interest and expertise. Between the second and third year you can also take a year out to study abroad at a partner university or to do a placement in industry if you choose to study our four year course. | | |
