DescriptionIf you're looking to start a new career that makes a difference, the Child and Youth Services Worker program at CDI College is a great place to start. In the program, students will pick up the skills they need to enter the rewarding social services field, with training in areas focused on helping at-risk youth, including psychology, poverty, and addictions. Upon graduation, students can specialize in helping youth through issues of family troubles, domestic violence, and mental health. Graduates can find employment in a number of areas including drug and alcohol treatment facilities, correctional facilities, group homes, aboriginal agencies and other community service facilities.
