DescriptionThe Social Services Worker Professional program has been designed to prepare the graduate for positions in the social services field with attention to the specific needs of youth, Aboriginals, and those affected by addiction. The program is structured with a core set of courses that provide a general overview of contemporary issues and values in social services work in Canada. Students will receive specialized training to assist youth and people in recovery.

Social service professionals are able to apply their skills to a wide range of situations. Whether it's helping families through a crisis or working with victims of trauma, their roles within society are essential.
