Description | Study the similarities and differences between literature written in different places and at different times in the heart of London, alongside study of film theory. Our Comparative Literature modules embrace 12 languages and six continents and span over 2,500 years. The focus extends beyond the modern and ancient literatures of Europe to the Americas, Australia, the Middle East, South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Each year includes two Film Studies modules, which will provide you with a detailed knowledge of both the creative potential of film, and the relationship between film and society.
