DescriptionYou want to be an electrician. You want to install, alter, repair and maintain electrical systems designed to provide heat, light, power, control, signals or fire alarms for buildings and premises. You’re comfortable splicing, joining and connecting wires to form circuits, and testing those circuits for integrity and safety.

But you want to learn more, like how to position and install distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels and fuse enclosures. You also need to know more about installing and maintaining fibre optic systems or electrical generation sources.
