Prerequisites NotesApplicants are required to have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) 60% from 6 grade 12 U, U/C or M courses. We also recognise the High School Diploma from other provinces -including Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick- where we look for strong performance in grade 12 subjects, and the Diplome d'Etudes Collegiales (DEC) from Quebec. Evidence of existing academic ability in Mathematics to a high level is essential. Our entry requirements are guidelines and we assess all applications on a case-by-case basis.

DescriptionOur Foundation Year in Mathematics is ideal if you want to pursue a degree in mathematics, but your qualifications do not meet the entry requirements for a three-year course.

In the Department of Mathematics, you?ll consolidate and develop your mathematical skills in new as well as familiar areas. After passing your Foundation Year, you can continue studying for a range of BSc degrees. Depending on your performance, you can study at MMath level.
