Description | Cooperative education in engineering incorporates a paid, supervised work experience component into the engineering degree program. Co-op students gain valuable experience through full-time employment during work terms sequenced with academic terms. The cooperative degree requires five years—in addition to eight, four-month terms of full-time study, students complete five, four-month work terms. These consist of full-time, paid employment in a position related to their field of study.
See Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering – Nano and Functional Engineering Option for more information about this field of study.
