Description | Professional planners create the vision of how cities, towns, and regions should develop in the future. Planners seek to ensure that built environments in rural and urban areas are developed in ways that promote sustainability, prosperity, and a better quality of life for all. This program focuses on the social science aspects of planning issues, with a broad focus on Land Use Planning, Urban Planning, and Regional Planning.
