Description | We offer courses that cover topics relevant to a wide range of career paths, including child and adult development, forensics, clinical work, personality, group dynamics and neuropsychology. Through lectures, seminars, labs and one-on-one mentoring, students can gain expertise in human behaviour and job-related skills such as critical thinking, team work, communication, problem solving, project management, research design and data analysis. Our department also provides specific courses that will help you with career preparation (e.g., job search and interviewing skills), as well as a wealth of opportunities to learn outside of the classroom. Engaging in co-op work terms, participating in the Psych Society, working as a teaching assistant in introductory courses or becoming an intern in one of our internationally renowned laboratories will enrich your studies and help you to launch your career. | | |
