Admission to the Bachelor of Education program at UNB Fredericton typically requires the completion of an undergraduate degree with a minimum cumulative grade point (CGPA) average of 2.7. Admission to the Bachelor of Education is highly competitive. The minimum CGPA stated may not be sufficient to secure a place. However, the Faculty of Education offers an admissions advantage program for secondary high school students and first-year UNB students.

Description

Adult Education is about lifelong learning. It’s about enabling people to continue on a path of learning, of skills development, and of personal enrichment.



UNB’s Adult Education program combines credit courses with academic research, applied projects, and continuing professional development workshops. You’ll learn how to plan, administer, and deliver training to adults of all ages in all contexts, and you’ll explore principles of adult learning, the nature of adult learners, and the history and philosophy of adult education. The Faculty of Education offers a Certificate in Adult Education (CAEd), a Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Adult Education, and a consecutive BEd in Adult Education.
