DescriptionThis two-level program is intended to prepare beginner-level English second language students to enter the General Arts and Science - English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program. Students build English language skills through reading, writing, grammar, listening and speaking practice.

Class sizes provide an interactive and dynamic classroom experience. Students are part of a rich international and cross-cultural environment created by classmates from a wide-range of language, work and educational backgrounds.

Graduates of the program receive an Algonquin College Certificate and meet the language requirements to enter the EAP program at Algonquin College.
