Description | Electrical engineers oversee the production, transmission, and use of electricity. That includes everything from managing large power grids that deliver electricity to designing microprocessors for computers and other electric devices. With the many applications of electricity, the areas of specialization are wide-ranging: power apparatus and systems, electronics and digital systems, computer networks and communications, electromagnetics, and system dynamics and control.
The University of New Brunswick offers a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. The first two-years of Engineering can be taken at either UNB Fredericton or UNB Saint John, while all eligible students must complete the final two years of the degree program at UNB Fredericton. | | |
