Description | Develop your understanding of events and tourism in diverse cultures and their impact on society and the environment. Immerse yourself in interactive, hands-on learning to gain comprehensive knowledge of planning, marketing, and successfully managing events and tourism experiences. This engaging course offers annual opportunities to explore various areas of interest. Our core modules cover marketing, management, and professionalism, while elective modules allow customisation based on your interests and career goals. There is a strong focus on addressing industry challenges, including sustainability, technology utilisation, and entrepreneurship. You'll be introducing, developing and professionalising your skills throughout the course to prepare for exciting industry roles. Gain confidence in applying your knowledge to diverse situations through simulations and practical exercises, building skills in planning, teamwork, collaboration, and health & safety. Participate in live event experiences, witnessing projects from concept to reality and facilitating continuous reflection and improvement.
