Description | As a pharmaceutical scientist, you play an important role in discovering and developing new medications that impact lives. In this program, you’ll build on your previous bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, chemistry or biology to explore dosage forms and the release of a drug from the dosage form, and pharmacokinetics, the study of the process by which a drug is absorbed, distributed, metabolized and eliminated by the body.
During this graduate program, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside professional experts in modern laboratories to gain a firm understanding of the materials and technologies associated with pharmaceutical product development, manufacture, and evaluation. You’ll graduate ready to participate in research to formulate new medications or continue your education with a PhD in Pharmaceutics. | | |
