Description | Do you have a passion for enriching the lives of others by training them in ways to live healthy and holistic lives? We have created our family and consumer sciences (FACS) degree program to provide the skills and knowledge you need to educate and make positive changes in the lives of others.
Family and consumer science is a broad field of study and covers topics including child development, nutrition, child life programs, career planning, and parenting. Our core curriculum explores all of these areas in depth. As you pursue this degree program, you have the option to choose elective courses in areas that most interest you and meet your career goals. Graduates of our bachelor’s degree in family and consumer sciences have gained the skills in interpersonal communication, consumer trends, human nutrition, and more, and find success in the career field of their choice. | | |
