| Description | In the Web and Mobile Application Development diploma program, students gain a solid understanding of application development for computer, web and mobile environments. Students learn language-independent programming concepts and techniques, including program flow, programming constructs of sequence, iteration, selection and decision-making in both traditional programming and object oriented methodologies. The program then explores a number of current programming languages and technologies including but not limited to C#, Java, ASP.net, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP/MySQL, Python, Android and Swift, allowing students to master the language-specific syntax and coding requirements to translate logical program design into fully functional computer, web or mobile applications. Upon completion of this program, students will be able to develop fully functional computer, Web and mobile applications using a variety of development platforms and techniques. | | |
