Description | Electrical and Electronic Engineering at UCLan provides a balance between the interrelated but distinctly different areas of electrical engineering and electronic engineering. You will develop skills in power electronics, motor control systems, renewable energy and compliment this with in depth knowledge of electronics such as analogue circuits and embedded systems development. The course has practical modules based around building skills needed within industry such as problem solving in an engineering context, project management and communications skills. You will be given opportunities to explore specialist areas in our dedicated laboratories that include modern test and measurement equipment as well as more specialist equipment for power electronics and robotics.
