Description: | The diploma in humanities provides a foundation in the study of liberal arts. Students are exposed to the foundational disciplines of classics and philosophy and other areas of the humanities that explore how great thinkers have interpreted our world, and take courses in a language other than English in which many of these thinkers originally wrote.
The program takes a holistic approach to the study of the humanities by emphasizing subject areas rather than specific courses in order to be accessible to a wide audience. You are encouraged to select from a wide variety of humanities courses in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences that align with your interests and which fit your schedule. |
