Description: | Our LLB (Hons) degree gives you the legal tools you need for a career as a solicitor or barrister, as well as equipping you for employment in other areas if you choose not to go on to a professional qualification in law. The programme is taught by a mix of academic experts and practitioner lawyers, who put real world clinical legal experience at the heart of the programme. You’ll develop a critical grasp of the law and its political, social and economic contexts. This LLB is suited to students who have a general interest in law and legal studies and who do not want to focus on a particular area of law at this early stage. Our LLB programmes are flexible in structure and share a common first and second year, which gives you the option to switch to a more specialist LLB in the final year and tailor your study to a particular aspect of law. |
