Description:A general science degree provides a comprehensive undergraduate education in science, exposing students to a wide range of disciplines. Students explore what interests them most, and with a strong foundation in mathematics and computational sciences, are equipped to meet the most in-demand skills. Students specialize this degree by completing courses in two of the following six concentrations: biology, chemistry, geography, geology, mathematics or physics.

Laboratory and field work will provide you with experience doing hands-on scientific work. Community service work is included within certain courses to provide you with experience working with a team on a real-world problem.

Mount Royal has institutional admission requirements which must be met to be considered for admission into our academic programs. Once you have applied and we have received all of your supporting documentation, the Admissions Office will determine your admission category.

  • Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 70] or Pearson Test of English (Academic) [min. 58] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 86]

All applicants must demonstrate English Language Proficiency if their primary or first language (meaning the main language learned and used as a child) is not English.
