Description: | Accommodating our growing human population has negatively impacted the environment, but with the help of land reclamation experts, we can secure the livelihood of future generations. Land reclamation is an interdisciplinary science that converts damaged and disturbed land to its former or other productive uses, and it's in high demand.
This program teaches you how to assess, mitigate, and minimize the impacts of activities such as industrial development and resource extraction, and how to restore impacted ecosystems. You'll gain the knowledge and practical skills to conduct contaminant remediation, soil reclamation, and revegetation, as well as environmental assessment and land-use planning. |
