Program Information

School:Western University
Faculty:Faculty of Engineering
Degree:Bachelor; Co-op; Honours
Field of Study:Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering
Description:What’s next has incredible power. Maybe it’s harnessing conventional or alternative power sources. Maybe it’s carried through data networks and digital signals. Maybe it’s put to work to improve or repair the human body. Electrical engineers shape power into useful patterns.

As an Engineering student, you'll have the option to enroll in the "With Co-Op" version of your program and complete a minimum of 3 co-op terms to graduate with a 'Bachelor of Engineering Science with Co-Op' degree. In addition to the practical experience and competitive salary you'll gain through summer and/or long-term co-ops, your employment will count towards the four years experience you need to be licensed as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
