Description: | The Geophysics program uses principles from Physics to understand the structure and dynamics of the Earth below its surface. Geophysical surveys can be used to locate energy sources, mineral and petroleum deposits, artifacts, and more. By understanding the Earth's core, Geophysicists can also assess natural hazards like earthquakes and volcanoes. |
