Additional Admission Requirements: | Applicants are required to attend a mandatory Fine Arts Studio Program Admission Session, where they will submit a portfolio of work. Your portfolio will be evaluated based on: experience, as demonstrated through your portfolio imagery, and commitment/dedication/passion to being a fine artist (usually as demonstrated through discussion at the session).
Guidelines for creating your portfolio:
May be a selection of original artwork made by you and can include original handmade pieces, digital documentation of original pieces, or a combination of both (you will take your portfolio with you at the end of the session). You can also provide a link to a cloud storage system like OneDrive or GoogleDrive.
Should display the range of your recent experience in media and imagery that are meaningful to YOU.
Aim for between 10 and 15 images (sketchbooks can be extra).
Media may include: drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, documented installation artwork, digitally processed work. Creative writing, poetry, theatrical, dance or musical performance, etc. can also be included.
Sketchbooks are particularly informative.
Images created on your own carry more weight than the school assignments. |
