Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is part of almost everything you do from the car you drive to the movies you watch to the cell phone you use. It drives innovation in nearly every area of your life. Computing professionals are the creative people who are responsible for many of these innovations. That means career options in computer science are limited only by your imagination.
Through a mix of theory and practical experience, you will learn the fundamentals of computer science, including how to design and build software, how to develop effective ways to solve problems, and how to create new and better ways of using computers. You will study the latest technologies and ideas in this rapidly evolving field. |

- Grade12 Biology or Grade12 Physics or Grade12 Chemistry
One additional course is required. Applicants who do not meet the admission requirements for direct entry to the degree program, but offer a minimum admission average of 60% (and other conditions as may be required by the admitting faculty) may be given conditional admission to the appropriate faculty in an entrance program to the extent that capacity allows. Students with high academic standing may be considered for admission to the Bachelor of Science program if they present any two of three grade 12 Sciences. e.g. Biology/ Chemistry; Biology/Physics; Physics/Chemistry. |
