You are registered as a Medical Sciences student in Years 1 and 2, and apply to the BMSc Program when you enter Year 3. In the BMSc program, you will study basic medical sciences and focus on all aspects of biology that define and influence the human condition. Emphasis is placed on understanding the normal human condition, mechanisms of current treatment and the search for cures.
One Health is an integrated effort of multiple disciplines working locally, nationally and globally to focus on the intricate link between animal health, environmental health, socioeconomic factors and human health. In this program, you'll access unparalleled breadth and depth of knowledge in the basic medical sciences, physical sciences, social sciences and the humanities with the focus on attaining optimal human health.
You can complete this program as part of a Bachelor or Honours Bachelor degree. Registration in the honours degree usually begins in the third year when you enter the BMSc program. |
