| Description: | How does the brain control our behaviour? How do brain disorders affect us? What about drugs…? If you want to specialise in physiological psychology, this is the course for you. It will prepare you for a career working with people with a range of needs - neurodegenerative diseases, tumours, strokes, traumatic brain injuries… For the first two years, you’ll study core areas of the British Psychological Society’s curriculum on this accredited course, with a specialist Techniques in Biopsychology module in Year 2. In Year 3, you’ll develop your neuropsychological skills further by choosing from topic and project options including biological treatments in neuropsychological disorders and techniques and brain, treatments and behaviour.
