CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY GIVES OUT OVER 1,700 AWARDS TOTALLING MORE THAN $15 MILLION! These include generous scholarships, financial support for conference and travel, as well as incentives to graduate sooner!

  1. 1. ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS

    Students are automatically considered for all entrance graduate awards when they apply to Concordia University, providing they meet the eligibility criteria. No separate application is required!

  2. 2. YOUR SUCCESS IS REWARDED

    Newly admitted students already benefiting from provincial and/or federal funding are offered a Special Entrance Award, valued at $6,000 for Master’s and $10,000 for Doctoral students.

    Funding opportunities don’t stop there! Students who excel in their courses are eligible for merit-based awards in their second, third, and fourth years. Frequent award competitions are open to all outstanding graduate students each term! Conduct a customized search on the Graduate Awards Directory for those you are eligible.

  3. 3. DISSEMINATE YOUR RESEARCH NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY

    Share your research findings and discoveries at a local, national, or international conference! Doctoral students can travel anywhere in the world and receive funding of up to $15, 000 total while registered in their program (or $1,000 for every term of study in your first five years). Master’s students can benefit from conference funding too!

  4. 4. GRADUATE SOONER

    Hard work is rewarded! In 2015, more than 100 doctoral students were awarded an Accelerator Award of $5,000 so they could focus on writing their thesis and graduate early.
