In November 2020, The SchoolFinder Group hosted the first-ever Canadian College and University Fair (CCUF), a nation-wide virtual education fair that helped bring thousands of students together with schools from across Canada. To celebrate the big event, CCUF offered a giveaway of $7,500: enough to cover a year of tuition at almost any Canadian school.

Jenna Pare wins $7,500 at CCUF

"This generous award has provided me with financial security that will allow me to live out my dreams and I'm ecstatic to see what the future holds for me," said Pare.

Pare will begin her post-secondary journey at the University of Alberta in Fall of 2021 to pursue a bachelor's degree in Environmental and Conservation Sciences.

"I'm passionate about the environment and becoming part of the solution to climate change," she said.

She expressed her excitement about learning how to make a difference in the world. Pare is already looking ahead, too: she hopes to pursue graduate studies in the future.

Congrats again, Jenna. And a big thank you to the 8,000+ students across Canada who attended CCUF and took part in the giveaway draw.

CCUF in 2021 and beyond

We're not done yet! CCUF Spring 2021 is right around the corner. This time, we're running multiple program-specific fairs, in subject areas like STEM, humanities and business, and the trades, followed by another national fair on March 20 and 21, 2021.

CCUF is giving away another $3,500 to one lucky student who attends one of these fairs. Registration is open now, so don't sleep on your chance to be like Jenna and win cold, hard cash, just for meeting with exhibitors from schools across Canada and getting the info you need for your education.
