Always liked Physics, Maths and Chemistry; but never had a clear idea as to what I was intended to do as a career. It was only in 11th grade, when I had to choose the subjects for 12th grade cautiously, I had to give it a serious thought and finally narrowed down or shortlisted my choices.

Having an hearing impairment since the age of 5 and later at 13 years old being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, I felt there was a greater need to help other individuals with all types of disabilities. This has always been my passion and I study hard to keep my grades at a high level. Its difficult for me financially and there is a constant struggle to meet all the tuition deadlines without help. Any scholarships would be of great benefit and I appreciate all the assistance that's available for me.

Honestly had no idea what I was going to do after high school. I enrolled in an Education Assistant diploma program and started working after the year of school and started to make money. I knew that my EA job was only temporary until I figured out what I wanted to do. I'm glad I took the time to think about my future options rather than going right into it after high school. I'm now going to do a Bachelor of Science.

I was sure that I can join university; through which I overcome my difficulties. My mam and dad encouraged me to give my full attention to my education. Finally I joined Jimma university in Ethiopia and studied pharmacy(B.Pharm). But, things were not as I expected earlier. Now , I want to learn more and try my chance once again.

I always knew I wanted to go to University since I was probably 8 years old, my father convinced me it was the only way to go, and all throughout high school I struggled with knowing what my future career would be. I kept searching for something that I could be happy working in, the most scariest idea for me was to pick a career that I would one day stop loving. Needless to say, I realized that for me all I had to do was open all my options. I took various classes in high school to see what I was good at and not. I've decided I want to further a career in the kinesiology field because I can do a lot to help people of all ages, and it seems to be a growing career.

I've always been interested and been looking at all of my options for University once I began high school, though I can't say that it was ever easy to decide what I wanted to do. I changed from wanting to do biochemistry to journalism to criminology to anything else that you could think of. Only recently have I realized what I want to study, thankfully, that being International Relations and Affairs.

I chose the option in this poll that best applied to me, but to be honest, I started thinking about my post-secondary options when I was still in middle school. High school only helped me to narrow down my choices and choose the right post-secondary institution that would be best for me, according to my interests and abilities.
