Carleton University - Information Technology Portfolio Preparation Workshops

The School of Information Technology at Carleton University will be hosting half-day portfolio preparation workshops on January 13 for prospective students who are interested in our Bachelor of Information Technology, Interactive Multimedia and Design program. Note, all sessions are the same and students only need to attend one workshop.

Please tell us a bit about yourself and your academic interests at Carleton before completing your registration from within Carleton 360. 10:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

10:15 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Check-in at 230 Azrieli Pavilion

10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Portfolio Presentation

We will provide you with an idea of how portfolios are reviewed, what we are looking for, and how best to present your pieces of work.

11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Individual Portfolio Reviews

Students will have access to a question and answer period with professors from the program. Prospective students who bring their portfolios to this session will also have the chance to receive feedback on their work. For this reason, we recommend that you bring along any work you are considering including in your portfolio.

We recommend parking in P1. Your parking pass will be in Carleton360 for you to download and print. Please display it on your dash. If you forget to download your parking pass, additional parking passes will be available at check-in.
